Bella Morte is a gothic rock outfit drawing from heavy punk influences, with its strongest asset being Andy Deane's hauntingly melodic vocals and solid songwriting. Early albums are mostly synthetic efforts, with dancefloor drum machine loops, rhythmic keyboard melodies and sparse guitar lines, betraying their origins as a two-man show. As they have grown in popularity, so too has their membership swelled to a full five-piece band, corresponding with a steady progression towards a more traditional rock sound. However, they've still managed to retain a lot of their unique style; to some degree, the additions of Tony, Micah and Jordan have simply allowed them to do more with the ideas the group has always based its music on.
Darktronica favorites are "The Rain Within Her Hands," "Relics," and "Logic."
