Architect is one of Daniel Myer's many side projects, albeit one that has become a much bigger part of his musical life in recent years as his fascination with drum and bass has evolved. Labeling Architect strictly as a drum and bass project, however, would be a gross disservice. This is more complex, a side project where drum and bass meets IDM in the middle.
Taking on an IDM/D'n'B fusion like this seems to be fairly common these days, with Mike Cadoo of Gridlock making a second name for himself with Dryft and Jason and Jamie from Acumen Nation forming the side group DJ? Acucrack. Myer has done quite well for himself in this arena, with The Analysis Of Noise Trading in particular winning a lot of praise from critics. Darktronica favorites are "Suicide Lake" and "St. Vodka (Mother Russia)".
