Epsilon Minus

Epsilon Minus was an EBM-influenced dance group created by Bogart Shwadchuck. While the music was never terribly complex, especially on earlier efforts, the tunes were always very catchy, and featured the lush vocals of Jennifer Parkin on Epsilon Minus and Mark II.

Partway through production of Mark II, Bogart decided to go it alone, and Jennifer split off to start a solo career under the recording name Ayria. At this point, Epsilon Minus started to take a turn towards trance and techno. Eventually, the change in creative interests led Bogart to retire the name and move into IDM and other more complex arrangements.

This is solid, creative dance music with a good mix of melody and loops. Darktronica favorites are "The Road To Hell," "Hide Your Girlfriends," "Faceless Whispers," and Boole's Digital Dabkeh remix of "80's Boy."
