Bogart Shwadchuck
Genre: Dark Electro
Origin: Toronto, Canada
Status: Active
Most well known for his work as Epsilon Minus, Bogart Shwadchuck decided to hang up that moniker in 2005, shortly after Jennifer Parkin's departure from the group. The Epsilon Minus website at the time noted that Bogart was interested in pushing his technical abilities further by moving away from Epsilon Minus's easy-dancing synthpop and more towards IDM like Aphex Twin.
Around this same time, his love for R&B, combined with a brief obsession with R. Kelly's "Trapped In The Closet," inspired Bogart to release the "R&B/Electro Sex Jam" EP Sex Genius. He's been self-releasing his work ever since on his own label, Full Code Media--an interesting label in that all bands signed release their work electronically for free, relying on direct listener donations for support.
If Sex Genius and Bitch Go Buy Me A Hot Dog aren't amusing enough for you, check out Bogart's blog on his website for proof of sense of humor.
